She has a master degree in law. She is specialized in environment-Climate change legislation, with over 17 years of experience in assessment and drafting environmental laws and policies in EU Member States and in several EU accession countries, as well as consolidated experience in implementation and enforcement of environmental EU provisions. From 2001 to 2012, she was employed in the Regional Environmental Protection Agency of Veneto, as officer at the Environmental law and Policy Office and the International Relations and Projects Office. The work programme focused on providing legal support to the Agency’s central and branch divisions, preparation and implementation of projects, conducting legal comparative studies of environmental law. Following more than twelve working years with the Agency she then moved to private consultancy, when she obtained relevant assignments as legal/institutional expert in several projects focused on environment and climate change mainly in Western Balkans.
